The first six weeks are not the time to promise SEO outcomes. They are the time to prove that the site can be discovered, crawled, indexed, and observed.
Week 1: verify the property and submit the sitemap
Confirm ownership, inspect the homepage URL, submit the sitemap, and record the deployment date. A working page that is not connected to Search Console cannot produce usable search evidence.
Weeks 2-3: investigate coverage before content rewrites
Check whether key URLs are indexed and whether any pages are blocked by robots, canonical settings, redirects, or errors. Fix technical blockers first. Do not interpret missing clicks as a content verdict before indexability is confirmed.
Weeks 4-6: cluster queries, not single rankings
Group queries by page and intent. Track impressions, clicks, CTR, and average position as directional signals. Review snippets and title alignment when impressions exist but clicks lag. Keep a change log so later comparisons have context.
